Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on specific dates, the opportunity to earn more points or miles for future travel and exclusive deals to accumulate points or miles toward elite status. Below are some of the best offers we found for March.
If you aren’t yet a member of Cathay Pacific’s Asia Miles program, you can score 3,000 bonus miles by joining and taking your first flight. Register by April 10, then book and complete any Cathay-marketed and -operated flight by Aug. 31.
You can earn more Cathay Pacific Asia Miles by transferring them at a 1:1 ratio from American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt, Capital One miles or Citi ThankYou Rewards.
Miles & More, the loyalty program of Lufthansa and several other European airlines, is offering bonus points on premium economy tickets.
From June 1 to Aug. 31, you can earn 50% more points and elite status qualifying points when you fly premium economy on any flight operated by Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines, ITA Airways, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa or Swiss from June 1 to Aug. 31. That means you’ll earn 120 points and qualifying points on intercontinental flights, instead of the usual 80.
To take advantage of this promotion, simply book through the participating airline’s website with your Miles & More number.

Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards members who live within 75 miles of Snapdragon Stadium can get 100 bonus points for every goal scored at home by the local professional soccer teams. That could add up to a lot of bonus points if the teams have a good season.
Register for the San Diego FC (men’s team) promotion and the San Diego Wave FC (women’s team) promotion separately.

Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays and new ways to earn extra points. Here are some March deals to consider when booking your next stay.
With the latest offer from Accor Live Limitless, you can earn double ALL points at select luxury properties worldwide when you book at least 15 days in advance. Participating brands include Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery and Emblems.
Activate this offer, then book by April 12 for stays through April 26. This offer can be used up to three times.
Wyndham Rewards‘ Member Month continues with triple earnings on packages that include a hotel stay and flights or a cruise. Plus, you can save up to 20% on select sailings.
Book your qualifying package through the Wyndham Travel Bundles site by April 30, and complete your trip by Dec. 31.
The last three weeks of deals are still available on Wyndham’s Member Month page, and the fifth and final deal will be revealed next week.

National Car Rental Emerald Club has a sweet deal coming up called “One Two Free.” You can earn one promotional free day for every two eligible rentals between April 6 and June 7. To qualify, a rental must be at least two consecutive days in the midsize or larger vehicle class.
Preregister now. Your promotional free days are valid through Dec. 31 on compact through full-size vehicles at participating National locations across the U.S. and Canada.

Card issuers offer deals and discounts on a wide range of products, from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Note that you must activate these offers on your card and use the enrolled card to make the purchase in order to earn bonus rewards. Not all offers may be available on your account.

With this offer, you can get $60 back after spending $600 on one or more qualifying purchases at participating Sonesta hotels in the U.S. and U.S. territories. Book at sonesta.com by June 20.
Chase has multiple offers to help you save on your next Hyatt stay. Even better, we’ve seen these offers on the World of Hyatt Credit Card (see rates and fees), which earns bonus points on Hyatt purchases and confers added benefits like Discoverist elite status.
You can get 10% cash back, up to $60 total, on a Hyatt Unbound Collection purchase of $375 or more by March 31. The following Chinese properties are excluded: Commune by the Great Wall and Jinmao Purelax Lijiang.
You can also earn 15% cash back, up to $70 maximum, on a Park Hyatt stay when you spend $450 or more by March 31.
