Just recently we visited the vibrant city of Eindhoven again. Eindhoven is known as a creative and innovative city. The city has many creative entrepreneurs and unique and innovative initiatives. One of these unique and new concepts is Dinner in Motion. We were lucky that we were able to join Dinner in Motion for an amazing night out in Eindhoven and enjoy this special culinary experience.

What is Dinner in Motion?
Dinner in Motion is the most unique dining experience you can imagine. A space that constantly changes after every course. Which uses light, sound, movement and scent to truly stimulate all your senses and provide an experience like never before.

At Dinner in Motion you eat, as it were, in different fantasy worlds, without ever leaving the table.
Not at a standard table for two, but at a very long table, of course next to your partner, family or friends. You go on an adventure together and get the most surprising dishes that are completely tailored to the scenes of the show.
How much does it cost?
A question we are often asked is how much does it cost to have such a special dining experience?
Of course, it is almost impossible to compare Dinner in Motion with other, regular restaurants. It is true that Dinner in Motion is more expensive than most other restaurants. What is important then is the price-quality ratio, which is extremely good at Dinner in Motion.
The food is really of exceptional quality, worthy of a Michelin star if you ask us. The food photos in this blog speak for themselves. That combined with the unique experience in image and sound around you, throughout the evening, makes it really special and more than worth the money.
On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays it’s €99 EUR per person. On Friday & Saturday this is €109 EUR per person. It may sound expensive, but don’t forget that you get a complete night out for this. Not only a six-course dinner, but also a unique show from start to finish.
The evening starts at 8.30 PM and finishes around 11.30 PM.
Drinks
The price mentioned above does not include drinks. You will have to purchase these separately on the spot on the evening itself. Upon arrival you will receive a brief explanation of what the evening will look like. You will receive an explanation of various drink packages.
Before you finally enter, you can confirm your drink arrangements. They offer a pairing wine arrangement. If, like us, you don’t drink alcohol, we can highly recommend the mocktail package. The mocktail package is €24.50 EUR per person. For this you will receive a matching mocktail with each course, six in total.
Reservation
A reservation is strongly recommended if you want to be sure of a spot. Dinner in Motion has become extremely popular in a short time. They have two large rooms where they can serve two large groups at the same time. There is considerably less space than at many other restaurants. This means that the available places are very popular and are quickly booked up.
Allergies and dietary restrictions
On the Dinner in Motion website you can see which menu is currently being served. Don’t worry if you have allergies or other dietary restrictions, you can simply indicate these when making your booking. When you enter Dinner in Motion you will receive a boarding pass, which will contain the restrictions you have entered during your booking. Our experience is that they absolutely take this into account. So just report any allergies or restrictions and enjoy a wonderful evening.
Location
Dinner in Motion is located in the center of Eindhoven, in the Piazza, a large shopping center. Adjacent to the shopping center is a large parking garage. The Piazza is located right next to the main train station of Eindhoven. So it’s basically an ideal location, perfectly accessible.
Is Dinner in Motion recommended?
Is Dinner in Motion recommended and worth it? Absolutely, 100% YES! Dinner in Motion is groundbreaking and goes so much further than regular restaurants. It’s more than just a night out for dinner. It’s a complete night out. From the moment you enter Dinner in Motion, you enter a world that completely enchants you.
Wherever you walk or sit, you are surrounded by a 360 degree show. You will find yourself in a world of technology, art and stories. Everything has been done to perfection down to the smallest detail. The quality of the food, the way it is served, the visuals on the table and on the walls around you, the music, everything is just right.
The food is of exceptional quality and the show throughout the evening is truly remarkable. We were speechless afterwards.
For us it was honestly the most special culinary experience we have ever had. We can only highly recommend Dinner in Motion!
