We recently visited the city of Eindhoven in the South of the Netherlands. We were of course looking for the perfect accommodation for our recent city trip to Eindhoven. We think we found this at the Hotel Pullman Eindhoven Cocagne. We stayed there for two nights and from there discovered the city of Eindhoven. We are happy to tell you everything about this hotel!

As you know by now, location is our most important factor when choosing a hotel. That was obviouslyno different for Eindhoven.

Location

This was our view from the room.

Hotel Pullman Eindhoven Cocagne has a super central location in the heart of the city. It’s absolutely the perfect base to explore Eindhoven. The hotel has a unique location. It is located right in the center, within walking distance of Eindhoven Central Station and right opposite the luxury shopping center De Heuvel.

Many highlights are easily accessible with this hotel as a base. The shops and best restaurants are within walking distance. But also must-do activities and places such as the Philips Museum, Strijp-S, Woensel West, it is all within easy reach.

Rooms

Hotel Pullman Eindhoven has 320 stylish hotel rooms. They have several room types that you can choose from when you book. The cheapest room is the Superior Room. However, you can also choose a Deluxe Room, Executive Room, Superior Suite and the Exclusive Suite. In addition to these rooms, they also have apartments and studios for longer stays. These have kitchen facilities and washing machines.

We had a large deluxe room during our stay. Something that I immediately noticed is the space, it’s a super spacious room. Our room had a large comfortable double bed.

The bathroom is basic with a shower, just what you need. The bathroom is also very spacious.

Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie

As any good hotel should, the Pullman in Eindhoven also has its own Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie.

Restaurant Vestdijk47 is the place to be in the morning for a delicious breakfast. They offer a very extensive breakfast buffet here.

You can enjoy local and international dishes and products. Fancy a freshly made egg? The breakfast chefs are ready to serve you.

In the evening you can go to the restaurant for dinner, where you can expect international classics with a modern twist. The restaurant offers a unique fusion of French and Asian dishes composed by their chef. Restaurant Vestdijk47 is the place to be for a fine dining experience, where every dish is a masterpiece itself.

In addition to the unique fine dining offer of Restaurant Vestdijk47, the hotel also warmly welcomes you to their Bar47 and Brasserie47.

The bar is the place to be for the tastiest cocktails and mocktails, delicious wines and special beers. Relax after a busy day exploring, a moment to catch up or to enjoy before or after your dinner at Vestdijk47.

Brasserie47 offers a relaxed atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to hang out and chill. Getting hungry? No problem, Brasserie47 offers accessible dishes from their own Brasserie47 menu.

Fitness, Spa & Pool

The Fit and Spa Lounge offers various wellness experiences exclusively for hotel guests. The goal is to provide you with a relaxing and rejuvenating experience during your stay. Pullman understands luxury. Take a relaxing dip in the pool, enjoy the soothing warmth of the Finnish sauna (our favorite!) or experience the therapeutic benefits of the infrared sauna.

You can also work on your tan under the solarium. What about the Experience Shower that stimulates the senses and leaves you feeling totally refreshed? You can feel the stress melt away.

They also offer a gym with the latest generation of cardio and other equipment. You rather work out outside and get some fresh air? There are numerous running routes available at reception.

Bike rental

You can rent bikes from Hotel Pullman Eindhoven to discover the city and the surrounding area. The bikes are available for the rate of €15,00 per day. If you want more information, please make sure to check the Welcome Desk employees, they will be happy to help you.

We rented two bikes during our stay in Eindhoven to discover the city and some must do highlights. It’s the best way to explore the city. Biking in the Netherlands is one of the best things to do.

There are cycle paths everywhere and everything is very easily accessible by bike. Moreover, you see a lot more by bike and you can stop wherever and whenever you want.

How to get to Eindhoven

The accessibility of Eindhoven in general is really good. The good accessibility by car, train and plane makes Eindhoven an increasingly popular destination.

Train

Eindhoven Central Station is an important public transport hub and public transport junction in the Netherlands. The whole of the Netherlands can be reached by train from here. The station is easily accessible and is only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. So absolutely perfect.

Car

Eindhoven is also very easily accessible if you come by car. Eindhoven is located in the south of the Netherlands, directly on several major highways and close to the Belgian and German borders.Although the hotel is located in the center, it is still easily accessible by car. Once you have left the highway, you will be at the hotel front door within 10 minutes. They have their own parking lot where you can park your car during your stay. Use of their parking garage or gated parking lot is subject to a fee.

Plane

Eindhoven is also easily accessible by plane. Eindhoven Airport receives flights daily from many countries, including Italy, France, Great Britain, Poland, Portugal and Sweden. Every day, about one hundred to one hundred and forty planes depart and land at the airport. There is undoubtedly an airport near you with a direct flight to Eindhoven!

Although the airport is located away from the city, you can easily travel by bus from the airport to the city center.
