Thai Horror Rom-Com Film “My Boo” to Premiere in PH Cinemas This June

Laugh, scream, and fall in love as the top-grossing Thai film “My Boo” arrives exclusively in SM Cinema starting June 26.

The horror-romance comedy flick revolves around gamer Joe who inherits a haunted house. Down on his luck, Joe gets an enterprising idea to turn the place into a horror attraction and recruit its three resident ghosts to be his ghastly actors. Love begins to bloom when Joe develops a deep connection with the charming ghost, Anong.

“My Boo” stars model-actor Sutthirak “Gee” Subvijitra, known for his works in various film and TV series such as “Switch On” (2021) and “Classic Again” (2020), the blockbuster Thai remake of the hallyu wave Korean film “The Classic”. Meanwhile, the beautiful dancing spirit, Anong, is played by pop star turned actress Maylada “Bow” Susri. Debuting as a member of the Thai girl group Kiss Me Five, Bow was catapulted into TV stardom in the drama series “Yai Kanlaya” (2014-2015). Filipino audiences may recognize her as the lead star of “To Me, It’s Simply You” (2021), which aired on GMA in 2022, and “Eclipse of the Heart” currently airing on GMA’s afternoon prime drama block.
