At the I LOVE NY experience, you’ll get a chance to play games for your chance to win some I LOVE NY swag, discover the perfect getaway for you in our six unique and interactive pods, strike a pose at our photo booth stations, learn more about the state at educational kiosks, and more!
Opt outside and grab a seat on a rustic bench to gaze at New York State’s natural beauty with trusty binoculars, a hat, and backpack at your side to meet all your outdoor adventure needs. Try on virtual reality headsets to immerse yourself in all the great outdoors have to offer across the Empire State, including a roaring trip on the Maid of the Mist and a soaring hot air balloon ride.
Paint the town red (or whatever color you want!) and lose yourself in artistic expression as you color in giant mural walls that feature 14 stunning art and cultural attractions across New York from the Corning Museum of Glass in the Finger Lakes to the National Comedy Center in Chautauqua-Allegheny.
Come fly away with the whole family as you get a glimpse into the Adirondack Balloon Festival. Step inside the hot air balloon basket and strike a pose in front of a scenic backdrop.
Take a bite out of the Big Apple and see for yourself what makes New York State a foodie paradise. The artisanal deli wall is complete with food and beverage “plates” that, when pressed down, trigger content about New York State food and beverage trails on the screen.
Expect the unexpected when you stand before 40 doors, each showcasing a distinct design and highlighting a unique attraction in New York State – from the Jell-O Museum in the Greater Niagara region to the Giant Garden Gnome in the Catskills, there’s something waiting for everyone to discover and enjoy.
Begin your quest with a Rube Goldberg machine that has 11 movement points representing a top history attraction in each New York State region. Activating the machine sets off a chain reaction through New York State – starting with the Lunar Module from the Cradle of Aviation triggering a bobsled representing the Olympic Center & Museum, all the way to a Statue of Liberty Teddy bear waving the American flag that represents Ellis Island.
I LOVE NY is also packing up its suitcase and making additional stops this summer, offering you a new way to experience New York State. Stop by to see our oversized I LOVE NY suitcase covered in 11 stickers representing New York State’s vacation regions, smile for the camera at the photo booth, test your New York State knowledge on the map challenge, try the Puck Drop for your chance to win prizes, and snag a selfie in front of our Instagram-worthy arches.
