Program Basics

Is there a Hilton for Luxury login, and can I join it myself?

Not as a guest. Hilton for Luxury is a program for travel advisors, so there is nothing for you to join. You get the benefits by booking through an advisor in the program.

Is Hilton for Luxury the same as Hilton Impresario?

Yes. Hilton for Luxury is the program’s current name, and the old Impresario web address on hilton.com now forwards to the Hilton for Luxury page.

Do I still earn Hilton Honors points?

Yes, and double the usual amount. Add your Hilton Honors number when you book in my tool, or send it to us with your dates, and make sure it is attached at check-in, because points are difficult to credit after the stay.

Can I use Hilton Honors points to book Hilton for Luxury?

You can book a points stay at these hotels, but a points booking does not include the Hilton for Luxury benefits, such as breakfast and the hotel credit. Those come with a paid reservation booked through an advisor.

Status and Other Programs

Is Hilton for Luxury better than booking direct?

Usually. You pay Hilton’s rate, and the stay comes with breakfast for two, a hotel credit, double Hilton Honors points, and priority for upgrades. When Hilton runs a sale that comes in lower, we compare the two for your dates.

Should I book Hilton for Luxury or Virtuoso at The Del?

At Shore House and Beach Village, book Hilton for Luxury. The Crown Club benefits are the same on either rate, and Hilton for Luxury earns double Hilton Honors points where Virtuoso earns the regular amount. The main Hotel del Coronado resort books on Virtuoso.

Can I keep my credit card points?

Yes. You pay the hotel with your own card, so you earn your card’s points as usual, and the Hilton for Luxury benefits come with the stay. You do not give up one to get the other.

During Your Stay

Is the room upgrade confirmed when I book?

No. The upgrade is to the next room category and depends on what the hotel has available. Upgrades are not part of the benefits at Shore House or Beach Village.

How does the resort credit work at The Del?

On a Shore House or Beach Village booking, the Crown Club resort credit is a one-time credit for the stay, sized to your room or villa. It works at the resort’s restaurants and on resort activities you book online, but not on the room rate or parking, so plan to use it. If you booked more than one room, your server can split the check so each credit applies.
